Punjabi Restaurant in Braunschweig

Inexpensive, diverse selection of food and drinks. I was really delighted with my maid of honor to have finally discovered a restaurant in our area, which we can still afford to this day at the end of the month without hesitation. The waiters are always extremely hardworking and ceaselessly gallant! The local is easy to reach! The convenient transport connections make a meal trip possible quickly, and I haven't been so fascinated by a restaurant for a long time.

Great quality

The food is always excellent and we feel very comfortable in the restaurant. The service and the boss are nice and courteous. We have not found that the hygiene concept is not being adhered to. Everything was perfect with us. Nobody is infallible, so it can certainly happen that someone unintentionally forgot to record the data. We paid attention to everything, so we cannot agree with what the previous speaker said.

The best Indian food in town!

Very tasty food. Very good choice of how spicy you want for each dish. The hygiene concept is not so great: a mask under the nose. Registration slip only on request.

The service is very friendly and the food tastes great! Better still than I remembered from a previous visit (back then in the city center). To recommend!

Tastes very good, the ambience is very good ... typical Indian colors and inviting furnishings. Friendly service and the best Indian food I've ever eaten. I will go here more often.

Nice privately owned Indian restaurant. Very tasty food, we have been there several times and love to come back again and again!

There were two of us in the restaurant on July 28th, 2020. The service was friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes, and we enjoyed both meals. At first glance, everything looked clean and tidy there. We will come back in any case.

The decoration on the squares and in the entire restaurant is decent and aesthetic. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a very good impression. I found the offer extremely friendly. Prominent and friendly service. I think that all the local staff did a harmonious job there, what I can truly recommend are the desserts. We were there for the third time and tested a little something new each time we visited.

Preety bad actually

Service was very friendly. The ambience is not inviting, reminiscent of a canteen. The food was so ... well ... ok. The price for what you get is definitely not justified. Small portions and really high prices. Also drink prices m. M. above the Braunschweig average.

Good food in itself, but the decor leaves a lot to be desired. For portions in the range of 15 to 25 euros, I just expect more than a plastic blanket and drinks that the table can distribute itself. In addition, 6 of 10 guests had to go to the toilet several times afterwards. Something must have gone wrong here when storing the food. For this, the waitress explained the hotspots well and explicitly, which meant that nobody ordered anything that was inedible. Nevertheless, there is plenty of room for improvement!

If one is looking for an authentic or at least nearly authentic Indian food, this isn't a place to try. The food is adapted too much for the European taste buds that it doesn't have authenticity. At best it is a bad pseudo Indian food. Moreover, it isn't worth the money. Too expensive for a tasteless dinner. The food we ordered did not have salt and other spices. It had a lot of turmeric and sugar. Very disappointed. Never again.

This restaurant is great. Starting with the ambience over the staff to, of course, to the food. Everything is bright and invites you to linger. The staff is friendly, courteous and competently answer any questions. The map covers the Indian variety and leaves only few wishes open. The food itself is excellent and makes you want more. This is how restaurant visits should always be!

There were three of us and everyone was extremely satisfied! The food was delicious and the service very friendly! We will gladly come back and can only recommend it! If you want to eat really delicious Indian, this is the place for you!

Right at the entrance we were told that it would take longer, it was very busy. We decided to wait and it was rewarded. Extremely tasty and wonderfully spiced. Delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a bit sober. There is still potential for improvement. We will be back.

Great food, and friendly service!

This restaurant has surprised me just positive despite inconspicuous location and look you get the best Indian cuisine Brunswick serve. The meat quality is extremely good, you get here no small cartilage chicks shred like some other shops but really nice and juicy pieces of meat. As a great friend of Indian cuisine, I can only confirm that the curries and sauces are just delicious and full of flavor, you get here no 0815 curry sauce but really good sauces made with fresh products. Everyone should definitely eat here to get their own picture.

Not recommended. We tried the buffet. Too expensive. The foods are too much germanized. Friendly place.

Excellent!

Top quality food with natural ingredients and the personnel is the best and friendliest in all of Braunschweig. The location is very centrally located. This is a place I highly recommend for any experienced indian food lovers.

Interior could use a designer. Their staff is very friendly. Compared to other locations in Braunschweig they are one of the friendliest. Their food is excellent. No additives or what so ever and you taste it.

We ordered some "never-can-go-wrong" dishes like chicken tikka, Paneer( cottage cheese) do pyaza and shahi Chicken.Out of that for two we ordered with normal chilly and for Paneer(which is generally bland), we asked for Indian chilly. Indian food is generally spicy which means it has spices such as coriander, ginger, garlic, turmeric, cumin etc mixed in different quantities to generate a typical taste of the dish but to our surprise, this paneer( which was tofu here) dish was just absolutely plain chilly nothing else..it had no taste at all. Other two dishes were average and this place being in mall is comparatively expensive for the food and decor it offers. Normally all Indian restaurants offer at least Papad(/dam) with chutneys as complimentary starter but this one had none. Service was just Ok would have been better if there was good foreword about the chilly-ness being not at all Indian. cos I love Indian food, crave for it all the time but if you name me this restaurant..i can still feel the chilly in my mouth and won't ever want to go back.
